I remember seeing (some of, anyway) The Ten Commandments" at a drive-in in Texas, when I was 3 or 4. My brother Paul and I were in matching Yankees baseball pajamas, in the back seat of our Pontiac Super Chief, sitting atop a blanket-covered board my dad had placed across the seat so we could stretch out. We were excited. It was amazing to hear the tinny sound of the movie come out of that little box propped up in Dad's window! Of course, we slept through most of the film :-)
